1. Scope

This policy applies to personal information collected by InfinityIT Limited through this website, including information submitted through the contact form. It does not replace privacy terms contained in a separate client agreement, statement of work or service-specific notice.

InfinityIT handles personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and applicable information privacy principles.

2. Information we collect

When a visitor contacts InfinityIT, the website may collect the visitor's name, company, email address, phone number, enquiry details and any other information included in the message.

The website and hosting environment may also process limited technical information required to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, requested page and security-validation results.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, highly sensitive personal information or confidential client data through the general contact form.

3. How we use information

InfinityIT may use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and communicate with the person who contacted InfinityIT;
• understand requested services and prepare relevant follow-up;
• operate, secure, monitor and improve the website;
• detect spam, misuse and security threats;
• meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations; and
• establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

4. Sharing and service providers

InfinityIT may disclose personal information to personnel and service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, deliver communications, host systems, protect the website or respond to an enquiry.

The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile for automated abuse prevention when configured. Information needed to perform that security check may be processed by Cloudflare under its own terms and privacy practices.

InfinityIT may also disclose information where required or permitted by law. InfinityIT does not sell personal information collected through the website.

5. Storage, security and retention

InfinityIT takes reasonable safeguards against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure or alteration of personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, business and support records, security, dispute management or legal obligations. Information that is no longer required may be securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Access and correction

A person may ask whether InfinityIT holds personal information about that person and may request access to or correction of that information, subject to the Privacy Act 2020.

InfinityIT may need to verify the requester's identity before responding.

7. Cookies and website functionality

The website uses essential cookies required for security and form functionality. These are always active and cannot be declined without affecting how the website works.

The website also uses analytics and campaign-attribution cookies by default: Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand visits, referral sources and website interactions, Microsoft Clarity to understand on-page behaviour through session recordings and heatmaps, and locally stored campaign information (such as UTM parameters or ad click identifiers) to understand how visitors found the website. These are optional and can be switched off at any time; they do not include advertising or ad-personalisation cookies, which remain off regardless of choice.

A cookie notice is shown on each visit until a choice is recorded. Analytics can be declined from that notice, or changed later at any time through its Preferences option, or by clearing this website's cookies and reloading the page. Where analytics is active, Google and Microsoft may process this information under their own respective privacy terms, including outside New Zealand.

8. Changes to this policy

InfinityIT may update this policy when website practices, services or legal requirements change. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
